The pelvic floor muscles are a key component of our core. It is a fundamental part at the center of our body’s functions. So why is it we’ve never heard much about these muscles? Optimal functioning of the pelvic floor is imperative for the overall health of our bodies. Pelvic floor dysfunctions can include:

  • Pain with intercourse, pelvic exams and/or tampon use

  • Urinary/fecal urgency and frequency
